It 's time to head out of the lake or river for a day boating and fishing. But what equipment you need before ever leaving the dock? Here is a list of equipment required on board all motor vehicles in the U.S.:
Owner Documents:
Carry statewide registration documents and proof of identity whenever the water.
Personal flotation devices (PDF):
Properly sized and fitted personal flotation devices (life jackets) are a mustfor each person on board. Remember: Children can not wear the PDF for adults. You (and who) to be the right to life jackets suitable for children safe. All vessels 16 feet or more, at least one life ring or floating cushion on board in a drowning emergency.
Fire extinguishers:

Visual distress signals:

Navigation lights:

A white masthead light - shows that covered all 225 degrees from both green and red lights combined.

Be sure you always have a safety assessment of all those must-have accessory to ensure they are in good condition before going into the water. Otherwise, you may find yourself in deep water with the authorities and pay back the banks with a rush order.
